Short and long walks are available, with all trails taking the walker through interesting terrain. Lakes are one of the main attractions and are a reminder of the pioneer mining era. The lakes have been revegetated and are picturesque at any time of the day- although morning and evenings add a special charm.
The walks are circuits, starting from and returning to the Heritage Park on Blackwood Road (opposite the Discovery Centre), doing away with the need for drop-offs and pickups.

The Bibbulmun Track
The Bibbulmun Track is one of the world’s great long-distance walk trails, stretching 1000km from Kalamunda in the Perth Hills, to Albany on the south coast, winding through the heart of the scenic South West of Western Australia.
The track is split into 9 sections but don’t think you have to walk the entire track to experience it! Follow it for as long (or as short) as you’d like and experience its rich history and natural beauty.
The section from Greenbushes to Donelly River is incredibly beautiful as it takes you through the stunning karri forest.
